My mom and I came here for dental work from the US. She needed extensive work (root canals) and I had a few cavities / cleaning. The entire team here is impressive and my Mom and I both felt they were better than any US dentist we've been to. Special shout out to Olga who coordinated treatment, Yun (the receptionist), and my dentist Dr Jonathan Tlalmis, and his nurse, who were particularly impressive. I plan to go back every year for a check up. My advice: don't look further, book with them. Cheers!

I booked my appointment thru Dental Departures, they made the process very easy. I did my research of Dentics Cancun before going and yet was very pleasantly surprised to find the clinic better than I anticipated. I began my procedure in August of 2023 and from the time the driver picked me up at the airport thru the writing of this review, I have nothing but positive things to say about Dentics Cancun. Their technology and equipment are all current and cutting edge. Their techniques are research based and expertly rendered. The staff were all very friendly, professional, helpful and every person in the clinic spoke English better than many people here at home in Texas. My procedure here in the states would have cost well over $50,000, possibly as much as $80,000. I saved a significant amount of money by going to Dentics Cancun, without sacrificing quality or safety. Without any reservation, I highly recommend Dentics Cancun. Love this place! I’ve been a patient here since 2020, the staff is super nice and informational. They did a great job on my implants and crowns, price is great for the work. Anytime I had a question or concern I just texted or called through whatsapp. I came from Florida for 6 days and they gave me rides from the airport to my resort and back and to all my appointments. Everything went great!

My mom had an issue with most of her teeth decaying because she had crowns and bridges for a while. The best option was to remove everything and install implants for permanent teeth. They set up a care plan based on individual patient's needs at the first consultation. We had two parts/trips. The first time, we had a consultation, then did the surgery. At my mother's early senior age, her recovery was good, and the same evening, she was back to mormal. My mom got 5 implants on the top and the bottom. Then we went back home to WA state with permanent dentures for the ability to eat. The doctor recommended 5-6 months for proper healing and gums seattle down. For the second visit, we got fittings done,
design, and picked color of the permanent teeth. The teeth look and work great, and my mom is very satisfied, everyone is complimenting her smile. Both visits were for two weeks' range since it's not just a filling or a crown, but a whole new teeth installed in your bone, I dont get people's reviews expecting to spend only few days and get advanced procedures done. My mom is very satisfied with the results. She's able to eat normally pretty much everything just with some precautions. Her smile is amazing, I am so thankful for this century's technology, this clinic's team, and science for giving my mom the ability to eat normally again. Overall, we had a good experience with this clinic, and I'd recommend it to people. Just make sure you discuss every question or possibilities during the consultation. I want to write a note about this wonderful dental clinic. Many who have problems with their teeth are looking for a place of high professionalism and honesty towards patients, I found it here. And not only that. You rarely find such highly qualified help. In order:
When I realized that it was very expensive to do dental work in my country, I contacted the best agent -dental coordinatoras Olga Cortes far as I could imagine, it was through her that all the recommendations and information about what steps to take to a beautiful smile came. These are big changes and I received  including professional support, a detailed explanation of what my options were. She stayed in touch with me when I was at home and how reliable I felt with her when I came to the clinic. Transport, appt time, detailed consultations she gave me !Thank you!
Special thanks to the surgeon Dr Naxhialy, who performed a complex operation that lasted more than six hours...Attention and professionalism resulted in rapid healing. Her confidence, kind smile and reliability accompanied me...Next meetings as well. Thank you doctor!
And my words of gratitude to several more doctors  and the clinic nurses during my checks ups, fittings, and careful work that was done during the next two visits. Thank you Dr Roció, and her assistant Ere. When work was being done on my teeth, during pauses they gave me a head massage, which relieved fatigue and pressure with aromatherapy. I heard a calm and kind conversation where after each instrument was given “gracias” was heard..And this also spoke of the excellent interaction between the doctor and the nurse...And at that time I also enjoyed wonderful music, which was also soothing. Thank you! You are high-class professionals.
I also want to say about another surgeon, Dr Jesús. His assistant Andrea... Who worked with me on my last visit, when I had to have my two last teeth pulled out and my blood pressure jumped from excitement. Doctor showed great professionalism as a surgeon. He calmed me down and very professionally did everything from anesthesia, which I did not feel, to suturing. Thank you  also to the assistant, who relieved stress and pressure with a aroma massage.
When the whole team works as one mechanism, it brings incredible results. Thank you to entire team maybe someone’s name was not spoken here, but  I know that everyone participates in creating my new smile. I am grateful! I smile endlessly, because I feel beautiful with these teeth. You all gave high quality service, your love for people and dedication to the profession. Good luck to you! I´m so glad that this team at Dentics Cancun provides you transportation for all the appointments. Dentics in Cancun was the BEST dental experience in my life. The care and concern shown by the entire staff was incredible.

The facilities were immaculate and most of the procedures were completely pain free. The Starbucks and Pharmacy next door were convenient and so comforting.

Yun the receptionist was outstanding to all of the dental patients. She took care of me like a dream!! She was awake before me in the morning aranging my shuttle to the office and make sure I got home to my Air BnB each night. She let me know the time of next appt the next day and when the shuttle would arrive. I would give her 15 stars if I could.

Olga was excellent as well. So informative and kind.

Dentics fulfilled all my expectations and I cannot not wait to go back and get my complete smile makeover once my implants heal. I feel like Yun and the entire staff are friends and I trust them to make all my dental worries go away!!!

I hesitated to post this due to thinking I might have to return but decided to. I was estimated to be in Cancun a week and it ended up being over 2 months. I tried to summarize this to fit the character limit, I've typed up much more since leaving.

Crowns Discrepancy

I was told I could get porcelain and zirconia crowns. Once I get to Cancun, I’m told it’s not advised I get porcelain and then flat out told I can only get zirconia due to how my crowns were prepared. Since returning to the States, dentists have told me I can get porcelain and even that my teeth seem to have been prepared more for them than zirconia. Had I been told porcelain wasn’t an option, I wouldn’t have booked initially.

Wisdom Teeth Removal Complications

I was advised to have my wisdom teeth removed for an extra charge. I asked why and was told because some of them are impacted and they are a risk in general. Once they were removed, I was bleeding but I thought it wasn’t a problem because no one seemed worried. I get in the shuttle and have to swallow my blood to keep from spitting onto the van’s interior because of the constant flow.

I get to my hostel and continue to spew blood. I sent a picture because my bridge is missing and am told that it was removed by the surgeon to not hurt neighboring teeth. They see the picture and urge me emphatically to get back to the clinic because I’m bleeding too much. I find a way back after being denied by the first bus for bleeding too much and they end up stopping the bleeding after an hour or so and administering an IV.

I was later told by the lead that this was due to my vein being cut (which had to be during the wisdom teeth removal, of course), that it was “leaking like a faucet”, that I lost a liter of blood, and that if it had continued much longer, they would have taken me to the hospital (which would’ve been unaffordable) because they were panicked about it.

The surgeon said he put the bridge in although I had been told it was removed intentionally. I stated that I didn’t think the bridge was secure because all I did was spit up blood as a result of my vein being cut in my mouth which I had no control over but the surgeon refuted this and I still was charged 900 dollars for the missing bridge and the IV.

Forgotten On Schedule

I was scheduled the following Monday to come in and be checked on and to rest through the weekend after losing so much blood. Monday came and I wasn’t contacted. The week goes by and no one has reached out. The following week goes by and it gets to Friday and I still haven’t heard anything. I decide to contact them and am asked if I’m still in Cancun. I’m puzzled because I was told that I’d be seen 12 days earlier. I expressed this and that I never stated I was leaving and they told me they thought I went back to the States.

My next appointments seemed squeezed in. They were quick and spaced out now. I was told I’d be seen a week later and when I tried to mention something I was cut off and told it was OK. I was even told that new patients were coming in now so based off that, the way they were doing my scheduling, the fact that I had to get there myself because the shuttle couldn’t get me, and how the appointments were, I had been forgotten about and was no longer a priority.

Refund/Bridges Charged

This experience had impacted me roughly so I figured I wouldn't get the final crowns cemented. I was told my crowns were not finalized so I requested a refund which seemingly upset the lead. He told me that they were finalized which was confusing to me because my bite wasn't right and overall, the temps needed more work and this was known.

I was also told to replace one of my bridges that were black from all the bleeding I did (which I didn't cause), I'd have to replace them all for $1200. It was later suggested we could try to clean it out.

Leaving

Basically, I'll have to start over without the money I saved for years and dentists are saying these crowns would fail if cemented. It may go well for you and many people there were kind, but this was my experience.
